Stump Removal vs. Grinding

Not only are stumps a reminder of a painful reminder of what once was or something that takes up valuable space or a safety hazard for personal injury of which you could be held liable for or a cause for unwanted rogue tree growth and insect manifestation but they're just plain ugly; an eye-sore.

The process for stump removal is quite intrusive.  The process includes mapping out the roots and making a mess in order to access the entire root but heavy equipment is in involved.  The equipment can traverse the property in order to access the root then pull it out leaving a gaping hole (we'll take care of it).

The process for stump grinding is far less intrusive.  We will put a piece of equipment on the property and position it at the stump.  We will put a shield up to protect any home or asset nearby.  Then will grind it down past the dirt line and fill the hole.

Tree Trimming

When is the Best Time of Year to Prune Trees?  There is never a bad time to remove dead, damaged or diseased branches. But most trees benefit from pruning in mid to late winter. It's ideal to Prune tree when they are dormant.  Pruning in this stage encourages new growth as soon as the weather begins to warm. Note that some trees will bleed sap when pruned during late winter.  For example, pruning maple trees in winter is ideal but can result in bleeding. However the sap will stop when leaves begin to grow.

Pruning trees in summer isn't a popular option however it can be the best option when needing to direct the growth of the tree or certain branches.
